Here is a review about my little "2 days" trip in Ireland!
Well... Why Ireland? in the beginning, my goal was to visit my "Basque" friend Michel. He is working in Bristol UK for Airbus, the airplane company... But as there is not much to see over there and we both wanted to surf somewhere, we decided to meet in Ireland...
I took the plane from Beauvais - France to Shannon -Ireland and spent 2 days over there...
One the first day, we decided to visit the "Kellarney National Park"... So we walked throught the park between eavy rain and a nice sun... Very pretty and very Irish ;-)
Then, the second day, we drove to Dingle to join Castlegregory beach in order to surf a little...We found on the net a surfshop over there... Surfing is not an easy sport... I started to surf when I was in Australia (6 months in 2006) and then I almost never surfed again... I was not very good at the time so I did not really execpt much from this surf session...
But we caught the perfect day! It was maybe my best surfing session!
The sky was cloudless! The waves were like 1,5 meters high and easy to catch... It was the good fat waves perfect for long board or mini malibu... Only 8 surfers in the water!
The real surfer's dream!
Only the water was cold, 11°C, but with the 5,3 mm wetsuit, I was never cold! Only my head was hurting a little when it was under the water... But overall, everything was perfect!

Surfing was for the morning... We took the time to visit Dingle in the afternoon before the way back to Shannon...
And then... it was already time to flight back to Paris... :-(
This trip was awesome... It looks fun like that and I did not even talk about the good time we had in the Irish pub from Anascaul and Sixemilebridge...
GOOD TIMES!!!!
But really too short! I'll have to come back for sure!
